Firing up the latest release on Spanish label Terranova Records is Turkish producer, Kuzzey. The talented artist is a true master of his craft and his mystical and thought provoking sound fits perfectly on the sought after Terranova catalogue. The ‘Closer’ release consists of six tracks all weighted beautifully, each of them telling a different tale adding to the final story. Cinematic and melodic techno from beginning to end, coming from different angles and tempos.
‘Aftersaint’ has a direct drive from the word GO!, pushing things up a gear, a perfect tool for a DJs collection looking to expand the minds of their audience. The aptly titled “Ethereal Closing” closes off proceedings, as the title explains, melt in your mind textures all warping together to make an almost eight minute delicately created trip. Number nine from Terranova Records and quite notably Kuzzey’s finest work to date.
