Following the huge success of last year’s double A-side Exposure & 895 on Snatch!, Lex Luca is back with a two-track follow up EP that blends the boundaries between punchy tech house rolling tribal house music.

Lex Luca is one of house music’s most prolific and consistent electronic artists. Regular support from scene heavyweights from Annie Mac through to Pete Tong & Mark Knight, Jamie Jones, Claude von Stroke, Richy Ahmed to Riva Starr is testament to his high production values, while a steady stream of releases on labels like Snatch!, Desert Hearts, Cr2 and his own In Tune imprint across house, tech and tribal are testament to his relentlessness work ethic and creativity.

2022 saw the release of Luca’s biggest track to date, the appropriately-titled Exposure on Riva Starr’s Snatch!; a track which was lauded by AAA names including Groove Armada, Laurent Garnier, and Nicole Moudaber, and was hammered by both Pete Tong and Danny Howard on Radio 1, going on to be one of the label’s biggest successes of the year.

For his first release of the year, Luca now returns to his own In Tune with his new I Think I Did It EP, both tracks of which demonstrate Luca’s adept handling of and focus on groove and rhythm, the title track’s powerful, rolling bass creating a hypnotic sonic trip, while What’s This builds patiently to its epic breakdown with evocative vocal textures and tribal inflections.

Release date: August 25th, 2023.
