Uniting transatlantic grooves and percussive energy, Mellizos and Alex Atenciano make their debut on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax with ‘Get Lit’, a slick three-track release landing on 21st November 2025.
Keeping its global ethos at the forefront, Hottrax introduces this new collaboration between Texas-based duo Mellizos and Spanish talent Alex Atenciano — three artists joining forces to deliver a groove-driven EP that embodies the label’s instinct for championing distinctive, dancefloor-focused sounds.
Based in Texas, twin brothers Mellizos have built a signature rooted in tight percussion and rolling basslines, earning early support from Marco Carola, Franky Rizardo, and The Martinez Brothers. They now team up with Madrid’s Alex Atenciano, one of Spain’s most promising rising producers, whose vibrant tracks have appeared on Be One Records and Happy Techno Music, with supporters such as Marco Carola, Chelina Manuhutu, and SOSA.

Opening with ‘Get Lit’, the title track locks immediately into a rolling rhythm, rich chords, crisp percussion, and infectious vocal snippets. ‘Chatter’ follows, maintaining the momentum with tight drum programming and an elastic, driving groove. Closing the EP, ‘Sabor De Noche’ delivers funky riffs, warm textures, and playful energy — perfect for standout dancefloor moments.
