Mene lands on Loco Dice’s Desolat with his two-track ‘Out Of That’ EP
Re-launched last summer following a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, Loco Dice’s renowned Desolat imprint has returned with a bang over the past twelve months, serving up fresh, heavy-hitting material capturing its signature sound.
Showcasing exciting names to know from across the globe, the next guest on the label brings a new name to the iconic catalogue as Dice welcomes DJ/producer and label boss Mene for his debut outing. Landing on the label following a series of impressive outings via notable labels already in 2024, the two-track EP sees the Serbian talent close May and serve up a pair of bustling, all-action cuts across his latest release, ‘Out Of That’.
“I grew up listening to hip-hop music, and I’ve always been heavily impacted by its unique whistles and powerful drum beats. My newest EP blends hip-hop vibes with the energetic rhythms of tech house, creating a seamless fusion. Title cut ‘Out Of My’ is skippy and impactful, with swirling lead melodies and trippy builds layered above bumping bass grooves and slinking drums for an energetic slice of dancefloor hear. Delving into darker spheres, ‘Momy’ is a rumbling and menacing percussive workout fuelled by warped vocals to deliver a track that marches forth with authority to close the show.
