Mikas is launching the rebirth of Progressive Grooves records with a 3 pieces EP blending genres and feels. The main theme Nemesis is a fierce blend of techno with a progressive edge ready for peak time action. It is raw, hypnotic, and highly effective on the dance floor. Already widely supported by techno, progressive, and trance DJs it is set to make an impact globally. The second piece of the EP “Addictive” is a darker affair with meticulously crafted percussions at its heart. The track feature big waves of energy drowning its audience in an addictive realm of hypnotic synths and ambiance. The last song on the EP is the original version of Nemesis, a stripped-down version with a purist approach to melodic/progressive techno.
2022 will see the rebirth of Progressive Grooves Records. The label originally launched in 2005 and made waves with releases being played live and on air by legendary DJs including Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk & Above & Beyond. The label’s music was featured on the radio at BBC Radio1, Kiss FM UK, and Radio FG France.
