Moneyjaw – Adderall – Chrome Friends
Moneyjaw and ZEALE come out swinging on Adderall / Imposter—a two-track release that pairs thick-cut ghetto house with sharp vocal work and a clear sense of underground pedigree.
Bass-heavy, percussive, and laced with personality, both cuts nod to the Dirtybird school of functional weirdness, while carving their own path through groove and grit.
Moneyjaw is the alias of Texas-born DJ and producer Thomas Sahs—a seasoned collaborator and sampling obsessive whose past credits span Midas, Honey Claws, Knockin’ Boots, and more. After years in the game, 2025 marks a new phase: a refined sonic direction that pulls from house, tech house and bass-heavy mutations, shaped by Sahs’ immersion in the LA and Miami scenes. The reboot isn’t about reinvention, but focus—leaner, bolder, and more deliberate.
ZEALE brings lyrical firepower and genre-fluid instinct to the table. Known for his freestyle roots and high-profile live presence, he’s shared stages with Dave Chappelle, Anderson .Paak, and major festival crowds at Coachella, ACL, and EDC Las Vegas. He’s worked across music, brand, and culture—with collabs for Coca-Cola, the Dallas Cowboys, and a city day named in his honour by Austin. As a voting member of the Recording Academy’s LA chapter, his creative reach runs wide, but it’s the ease with which he moves over club rhythms that makes this collab snap.
Both tracks hit with intent. Adderall is a twitchy, swung-out bomb with hyper hooks and restless energy. Imposter leans into a slower, stalkier bassline, with ZEALE’s delivery threading through the tension. Stripped, smart, and built for dark rooms—this is the sound of two distinct voices finding a shared pocket.
