Clash Lion is the brainchild of Shall Ocin, TERR, and Daniel Watts, three different people with different backgrounds, tastes, and ideas, but with unlimited love for interesting music from techno to electro, from indie-dance to experimental stuff. Our new release is no_ip’s Close to Me EP, with a fantastic remix from Kino Todo.

no_ip is a very important part of Clash Lion’s family since he released a track on “Clash Culture Vol. 1”, followed by his acclaimed first EP, “Kyoto”. Now he’s back with another special release that blurs and expands the boundaries of techno, electro, and indie-dance, going deeper into his very unique and recognizable style.

The opening track, “Close to Me”, is a serious dancefloor weapon, where groovy and seductive rhythms collide with spectral voices and sinuous basslines. “Nobody”, the second track, is a bit darker and harder, a labyrinth full of martial beats, bass reflections, mysterious textures, and processed vocals, creating a dense and unique atmosphere.

For the remix duties, this time we had the pleasure to have super-talented Kino Todo (Life and Death, Disco Halal, Multi Culti, Blue Shadow), that reworks “Nobody” and takes it in a completely new direction, turning it into a summer hit, full of organic percussions, tropical grooves, and 90s acid house tints.

Release date: September 2nd, 2022.
