PAAX (Tulum)’s E.P. Wallas, the second release from the new music label of Scorpios, is an auditory exploration of global proportions, taking influence from the real and organic sounds of myriad countries and cultures — from the DJ duo’s native Buenos Aires to their chosen home on the Riviera Maya, to Spain, and beyond.
Music for the senses, music for the emotions, music for healing, music as a vehicle for expression — Wallas is open to interpretation, informed by the understanding that the human experience is both dizzyingly complex and bafflingly simple, depending on the combination of sensual stimuli in any given moment. To reflect this shape of life, PAAX (Tulum)’s music varies in intensity, tone, style, and content conveyed — “a total fusion like life itself”, as they put it. Remixes come courtesy of Stefan Obermaier, Holed Coin and Pandhora.
