Originally released as part of 2022’s self-titled debut, Pale Stranger, Did You Know That? features the vocals by Grace Capper (Grace and the Magic Roots) and lyrics by Lawrence Brown, which hint at science’s inability to cure longing. Its 2023 reboot is a complete reimagining – replacing the ambient bells and warped tape of the original with skittering beats and deep subs.
Leicester-born Pale Stranger was ranked as one of the up-and-coming artists for 2023 by Electronic Sound Magazine and was included in worldwide distributor Ditto Publishing’s picks for 2023.
