2019 marked another incredible year in the journey of Peppermint Heaven. The L.A synth-pop connoisseurs released two EP’s in the form of ‘New Moons’ and ‘Sunshine Days’, both releases cementing their place in the pantheon of retro-influenced indie-pop. They soon took that rich vein of songwriting form into 2020, dropping the outstanding ‘Red Balloons’ EP to critical acclaim and worldwide support across Spotify’s playlist network.
Juno (Keyboards & Vocals) and Spark (Bass Guitar, Drums & Vocals) have seen their hard-work and prolific output take them far beyond the 7 million streams mark on Spotify. Their brave takes on 80’s music have procured them a cult following and they are always looking to extend their following with forward-thinking collaboration opportunities.
So it’s one again the case, with an outstanding remix from up-coming producer Oscuro. Now becoming a regular collaborator for the L.A duo, Oscuro has a unique ability to combine organic and electronic elements in a cinematic way. His undeniable talents have led to support from Thump/ Vice, The line Of Best Fit, Clash and plenty more. The new remix, is a stunning piece of electronica that brings all of his skills to the fore. Somewhere between Jon Hopkins and Four Tet, it’s an outstanding electronica gift, from one of the countries most exciting new producers Peppermint Heaven and Oscuro are available for interviews, live and playlist opportunities, please email aidan@sonnetmusic.co.uk .
