Nottingham’s UK Bass explorer Origin One (Tru Thoughts, NICE UP!) has delivered a magnificent liquid drum and bass remix of Milton Gulli’s string-laden anthem ‘Lobo’ from his debut album on Tangential – ‘Quotidiano’.
An electronic exploration of space in time, it’s a spacious roller of a track, inspired by early Bukem, High Contrast, and Calibre but sounding as fresh as tomorrow. The conscious, yet dancefloor floor-led remix retains the orchestral majesty and atmosphere, while injecting the song with irresistible energy with its rolling drum and bass breaks.
As Origin One explains – “I Instantly fell in love with the track and the remix pretty much wrote itself, the composition of the original just clicked in like lego with my own production style.”
