Renwartherger announces new seven-track EP ‘Moving’, out December 5th

Renwartherger — the mysterious and innovative electronic collaboration aligned with Bulletdodge Records — announces ‘Moving’, a new seven-track EP set for release on December 5th.

‘Moving’ marks the project’s second release of the year, following April’s highly praised ‘Faint Residue’ EP, which received support from influential tastemakers including Laurent Garnier, Francesco Farfa, Richard Sen, Mad Miran, dMIT.RY, and Orde Meikle (SLAM), among others.

Known for its moody, textural fusion of electronica, post-punk guitar motifs, and genre-defying club experimentation, Renwartherger continues to carve out an immersive and emotionally resonant identity—one that feels at once familiar and otherworldly. In true Bulletdodge fashion, the project maintains an emphasis on pure sonic exploration, skipping curated imagery or narrative in favor of letting the music speak for itself.

A major highlight of the new EP is the collaboration with vocalists Jillian Raye and Jennifer Johnson, both members of the Seattle-based grunge supergroup 3rd Secret, which includes musicians from Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Nirvana. Raye and Johnson are also affiliated with Giants In The Trees, the band led by Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic.

The EP opens with ‘Simplicity’ (featuring Jillian Raye), layering a squelchy, elastic synth line beneath her haunting blend of spoken-word and sung vocals. The title track ‘Moving’ (featuring Jillian Raye & Jennifer Johnson) follows with an insistent, funky groove and sultry vocal interplay.

Across the rest of the EP, Renwartherger demonstrates a broad songwriting palette and a knack for blurring genres and moods:
– ‘Everything’ leans into breaks and rap elements.
– ‘Concealed’ veers into rock-electronica territory.
– ‘Keeps Me Going’ inhabits a cool, downtempo, dark-tinged electronica landscape.
– The closing track dives unexpectedly into near-ballad territory, its glistening guitars underscoring the project’s forward-thinking approach to production.

With ‘Moving’, Renwartherger continues to push boundaries while cementing its reputation as one of Bulletdodge’s most intriguing and exploratory voices.

Release date: December 5th, 2025.
