Berlin-based DJ and producer Niccolò Turini (Pisa, class ‘95) bring us a fresh house track “I Come From Deep Space”, filled with tension, echoing percussions, an aggressive bassline groove, and ambient pads that fill the mix with radiating cosmic waves and nostalgic atmospheres. Rico Casazza, London based producer, film sound designer and DJ counting 11 years of activity in the electronic music scene brings this EP’s title track to the next level with a faster-paced remix: alien vocal stabs, precise cymbals and a tense, fat bass give even more dancefloor impact to the already explosive Niccolò’s title track.
Rico finally concludes the EP with “Chicago Shuffle Drive”, a clean, magnetic Chicago House track that shows the artist’s sensibility for precise sound design, shimmering hats, and meticulously placed stab synth percussions. The “I Come From Deep Space” EP will be released on Linea Records: a newborn record label born in an international collaboration between Berlin and Pisa, highlighting young talents that create innovative records, morphing together the classic elements of techno, house, and electro dancefloor bangers into new, experimental styles of sounds borrowing from IDM, Ambient and Downtempo.
