Gain Records presents a fast and furious techno EP by Roberto Pagliaccia which also features remixes by Ramon Tapia and label boss Sisko Electrofanatik.
Roberto Pagliaccia is an Italian artist from Firenze who has become a regular on Gain Records with this being his 4th time featuring on one of the label’s releases. He is well-known on his local club scene and continues to grow his international fanbase following support from people ranging from Space 92 to Rebūke.
Ramon Tapia is a Belgian artist who in addition to traveling the world as a headline DJ, is also an influential producer who has released enthralling tracks on iconic imprints such as Drumcode, Filth On Acid, and his own Say What? label.
Italy’s Sisko Electrofanatik is the owner of Gain Records, but he has also featured his explosive style of invigorating techno on many other leading record labels including Codex, AnalyticTrail, We Are The Brave, and Intec.
“Crypto” is the first of the originals and it fuses cinematic melodies with hypnotic percussion and a thumping kick drum. Ramon Tapia’s remix of Crypto ramps up the energy with extra percussion and an intense, new, arpeggio synth line. “Monero” is the second of the original tracks, and it’s a dark and spacious cut with twisted euphoria. Sisko Electrofanatik’s remix of Monero has a driving groove with toughened-up percussion and dramatic, industrial stabs.
