Deep Forest returns with a new remix of Seth Tabatznik’s *‘Shining For Love’*, set for release on July 17th, 2026 via MOTH Music (Mother of The Heart).
Propelled into the global spotlight by their iconic ‘Sweet Lullaby’, the Grammy Award-winning project achieved worldwide success with gold and multi-platinum certifications across the US, UK, Japan, Germany, France, and Australia. In 1995, Deep Forest made history by becoming the first French musical act to win a Grammy, receiving the award for Boheme a distinction later shared with Daft Punk. Across the decades, the project, led by visionary producer Eric Mouquet, has continued to expand its sonic universe through acclaimed releases and collaborations with artists including Peter Gabriel, Josh Groban, Joe Zawinul’s Syndicate, Paco Sery, Rahul Sharma, and Lokua Kanza.
Renowned for blending electronic music with global musical traditions, Deep Forest has become synonymous with immersive soundscapes built from ethnic vocal recordings, ambient textures, and rhythmic electronic elements. Now based in South Africa’s Western Cape after growing up in London, Seth Tabatznik crafts acoustic folk that bridges ancient wisdom with contemporary songwriting. Deep Forest’s remix of ‘Shining For Love’ opens with a contemplative pan flute melody floating above Seth Tabatznik’s emotive vocals, creating an intimate atmosphere before gradually unfolding into a soaring melodic house journey. Pulsing percussion, a propulsive kick pattern, and a deep elastic bassline drive the arrangement, while the warmth of the pan flute coexists naturally with euphoric club energy.
