After taking some time off to work on new music, Sonantis reports back with a five track EP on Mirror Walk on 20 April.
This new release will take you on a journey through various interpretations of house and techno, starting off with the driving yet atmospheric track “Focus”. The tracks “Omaya” and “Kazaka” don’t hesitate to introduce more percussive, groovy and even tribal elements that contrast the otherwise melodic and almost dark atmosphere. For Kazaka, Sonantis also teamed up with Munich based DJ/Producer Malcolm Francois. The EP then reaches midpoint with its name giver “Nero”, paying tribute to analogue sounds as well as funky and groovy roots of Sonantis. The journey will climax with its final track “Teega”, finishing the EP with a forceful yet harmonic peak time powerhouse.
With this new release, Sonantis again showcase their diverse style and willingness to explore and combine different grooves, harmonies and vibes, while still maintaining their unmistakable signature.
