Boomerang Records is a label that you should expect to hear a lot more of in 2020. After entering the scene via they’re debut VA album ‘A Jazzual Experiment’, showcasing an experimental funk’d up twist on D&B, they intend to deepen they’re catalogue this year, and experiment with a mixture of genres. They’re aim as a label is to showcase a variety of electronic music.
The Paris based, genre twisting Stabfinger, continues his electronic explorations with ‘Doppia Personalità’, a unique blend of acid, breakbeat, jungle and glitch. The B-side brings the acid-infused, funky whirlwind, that is ‘Follow The Rhythm’. Stabfinger again magnificently mixing genres; blending acid, glitch, funk and D&B, all in one high energy dance track.
Doppia Personalità EP certainly sets the tone for some very interesting things to come from the label. With a pipeline of releases on the cards from a diverse selection of artists, Boomerang Records is definitely one to watch!
