Opening the catalogue is ‘Echoes of Light’, a dynamic three-track EP with FunkT!de, arriving April 24
Rising electronic duo Sunora announce the launch of their brand new record label, SUNCTURE, alongside the imprint’s debut release Echoes of Light — a three-track EP created in collaboration with FunkT!de, arriving April 24, 2026.
SUNCTURE marks a new step for the recently formed duo, conceived as a platform for groove-led, emotionally resonant house music rooted in warmth and atmosphere. With its first release, Echoes of Light, the label introduces a sound built on analog textures, rolling basslines and understated, hypnotic vocals, designed as much for open-air settings as for intimate, late-night dancefloors.
Speaking on the launch, Sunora commented:
“We started SUNCTURE to have a space where we can release music without overthinking it; just trusting our taste and the feeling. ‘Echoes of Light’ came together very naturally with FunkT!de, and it felt like the right way to open this new chapter.”
Sunora — the recently formed duo of Chertkovski and Alar — represents a fresh direction in modern house music, combining deep studio craftsmanship with a strong sense of mood and place. Already championed by the likes of BBC Radio 1, their productions lean into organic groove, vintage-inspired synth work and fluid vocal elements, creating a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. The Echoes of Light EP marks Sunora’s second official musical offering, following their first major collaboration, Bianco Montana, with Lee Burridge on All Day I Dream at the end of March 2026.
Individually, both artists bring a wealth of international experience and recognition to the project. Chertkovski has established himself as one of the most distinctive talents on the Russian electronic scene, with a versatile sound that has earned support from artists including Nora En Pure, NTO, Eelke Kleijn, and Vintage Culture, alongside coverage from platforms such as Tomorrowland One World Radio, DJ Mag, and Mixmag. Now based in Bali, his global touring schedule includes appearances at leading venues and festivals such as Savaya, Soho Garden DXB, Ulu Cliff House, and Odyssey Festival, while also founding the widely respected Reverse Festival.
Alar (formerly Alexander Alar) operates at the forefront of melodic electronic music, blending Indie Dance, Melodic House & Techno and Afro House into a deeply emotive and immersive sound. Ranked among the Top 30 Melodic House & Techno producers on Beatport, his work has received support from key figures including Solomun, Adriatique and Pete Tong. With releases on labels such as Get Physical, Armada, and Bar 25, and performances spanning from Burning Man to Ibiza, Tulum, and Bali, he continues to build a global presence defined by both scale and artistic identity.
On the live front, April sees Sunora take their sound across Thailand for a series of open-air performances, beginning at Yuchi Beach in Phuket on April 11, followed by Electric Forest in Koh Samui on April 14, and concluding at Praya in Koh Phangan on April 18. Set against coastal backdrops and tropical landscapes, the tour reflects the environments that continue to shape the duo’s musical identity.
