For her return to KATERMUKKE Sydney Blu joined forces with fellow Canadian Jenner to deliver their special EP „Release“!
Sydney Blu & Jenner, both based in Toronto, decided to go into the studio together to combine their unique styles. This resulted in the creation of „Release“ and „Before Dawn“. The two share a love for Melodic House, Indie Dance and Progressive House, and combining these genres became the foundation for this driving EP. This summer it has been tested on several dance floors and at festivals around the world and the positive feedback has fueled the excitement for this KATERMUKKE release!
Throughout the title track „Release“ the lead creates tension that perfectly contrasts the powerful drums and bass in the drop, this creates a beautiful contrast and it gives the track a push-and-pull feeling. The tension builds up and then, fitting with the track name, it is released.
„Before Dawn“ features interesting percussive elements that provide a unique rhythm to the song and a warm reese bass. Nonetheless what steals the show is the catchy synth melody.
