Barcelona-based DJ/producer duo The BeatBoy’s return to Ilario Alicante’s Sound D’Elite for their third appearance on the label with the ‘Motion’ EP, set for release on March 20th, 2026. Following two notable outings throughout 2025, the Latin American/Spanish pair continue to refine their dark, atmospheric and groove-driven sound.
Heavily influenced by hip-hop, their glitchy, low-slung productions have also appeared on labels such as Moan, Short Circuit, COCO, and Deeperfect. Behind the decks, they’ve taken their sound to globally renowned venues including Printworks, Space Miami, Amnesia, and Pacha, establishing themselves as consistent purveyors of late-night energy.
With ‘Motion’, the duo delivers a two-track EP built for the club. The title track pulses with an elastic bassline that creates space for electrifying tension, guided by warped vocal hooks and a thudding low end. On the flip, ‘Whispers’ introduces a magnetic rhythm where rap vocals contrast with an ominous atmosphere, pulling dancers deeper into its rolling, kinetic flow.
