London’s Renee Thomas aka TheGoddessMusic presents the Ashe EP

Released on 5th September via Roger Sanchez’s Stealth label, the Ashe EP is a stunning 5-track project that reflects the Yoruba word Ashe — meaning “gift” or “blessing.” That’s exactly what TheGoddessMusic delivers here: a gift to her audience, and to herself. After years of releasing house music in many styles, she has now crystallized her signature sound — and you’re going to love it.

The Ashe EP is the soundtrack to falling in love: when someone loves you deeply, you love them too, and—no matter how frightening—it inspires you to look inward and begin to love yourself as well.

The EP unfolds as follows:

Find Me
Opening the EP, Find Me pulls you in with its hypnotic chords and sliding bass, creating a trance-like state for the soul. “I need my love’s words of affirmation to show me how they feel,” explains TheGoddessMusic. “It’s a plea to be shown how deeply they desire me—something I’ve never felt before but long to experience fully.” The result is a track that’s both intimate and entrancing.

Show Me Love
Next comes Show Me Love, a high-energy Afro House reimagination of the Robin S classic. It retains the heart of the original while breathing fresh life into it for a new generation. “Kieron originally reached out to topline one of my tracks, but his take on ‘Show Me Love’ instantly resonated,” says TheGoddessMusic. “I knew I had to make it my own—familiar, yet fresh. It speaks to the evolution of my sound and ties deeply into the EP’s story.”

Feel No Way
The third track, Feel No Way, is an anthem of liberation and empowerment. Rooted in the Jamaican patois expression meaning “don’t worry”, it’s about rising above negativity, envy, and judgment. It’s a mantra of confidence and self-empowerment that many listeners can connect to.

Something
Track four, Something, originated as a draft idea from StanBizzy, which TheGoddessMusic then expanded with Afro drum patterns, lyrics, and vocals. The song captures the very beginning of falling in love—that nervous realization of feeling “something” in your heart, hoping for safety and reciprocity, and experiencing emotions never felt before.

Ashe
The title track closes the EP with a spiritual celebration and awakening. It’s the perfect blend of tribal percussion that drives you to dance, and a hypnotic mantra designed to align the mind with the music. In Yoruba, àṣẹ signifies energy, command, power, and authority—the ability to make things happen. In English, Ashe also translates as “ash tree clearing,” carrying a sense of renewal.

With music this powerful, it’s no wonder Roger Sanchez was immediately blown away by TheGoddessMusic’s voice and production skills the moment he pressed play. Now, it’s your turn to experience the magic.

Release date: September 5th, 2025.
