The textures on Buzz are superb, with loose percussive patterns overlaid with serene string sounds. The groove is warm and rolling and the whole thing is held together with a vast and cuddly bassline way down low. As Of Yet goes even deeper with the pitter-patter of toms making for a dynamic and propulsive element over the pillowy kicks. More rich basslines come in to help heighten the whole trip and then whispered vocals and smart FX finish in style. This is a brilliantly evocative offering from Wood Drift.
