SG Lewis has unveiled a new remix of ‘What You Want’, the collaboration between Angèle and Justice that first arrived earlier this year. The producer reshapes the original into a club-focused interpretation inspired by the French Touch sound that helped define his musical identity.

Speaking about the remix, Lewis explained that the influence of Ed Banger Records played a major role in his approach. At the same time, the opportunity to revisit a collaboration between Angèle and Justice represented a natural fit for his sound.

The original release attracted widespread attention from both artists’ audiences and was accompanied by a visual piece created in collaboration with the creative collective (LA)HORDE. More recently, the track also received a reinterpretation from fcukers, further expanding its reach across different corners of contemporary electronic music.

With driving low-end energy and a renewed emphasis on the dancefloor, Lewis adds another dimension to one of the year’s most talked-about collaborations.
