Yoshitoshi’s main artist, Sharam, is commemorating the 15th anniversary of his debut single ‘Get Wild’ from his first solo album of the same name. To celebrate, he is releasing what he calls the ‘1.5 remix’, a contemporary spin on the original track.

‘Get Wild’ holds a special place in Sharam’s heart, as it was his debut single and the title track of his first solo album. The release exceeded the artist’s expectations and received global recognition. He credits ‘Get Wild’ as the spark that ignited his creative journey.

This remix is both a musical tribute and an expression of gratitude to a song that has significantly shaped his career. Sharam has preserved the original track’s spirit while infusing it with his current creative insights.

The remix combines Mario Vazquez’s vocals with tech and techno elements, accentuating Sharam’s signature reese drops. “The original was huge when it came out and was played by all types of DJs, so I wanted to build on that with something equally universal to reintroduce the record to a new generation of music enthusiasts. It’s quite raw and gritty. That’s where my head is at right now,” Sharam explained.
