Shifting Tones Invites Demarkus Lewis

Shifting Tones invites Demarkus Lewis

The jackin house maestro comes to Miami.

Shifting Tones, made up by local DJs and producers Atomyard, Fabrizio Zerlini and Miranda, present a new edition of their outside-the-club party experience this Saturday, November 16th, featuring the appearance of Demarkus Lewis at the 1000 Palms Hideout in the city of Miami.

Following last August’s performance by Chicago legend Ron Trent, the party series continues to bring some of house music’s most respected representatives to Florida by presenting Demarkus Lewis in their latest event. The Dallas native has been an important presence in the worldwide house scene for over 20 years, with an extended discography spread across labels such as End Recording, Slip n’ Slide, Low Down, Siesta Music, Nightshift, Robsoul, and many, many others.

Head of his own record label Grin Music, established in 2005, Demarkus Lewis has kept his underground sensibilities intact throughout the years, regaling audiences around the world with his diverse and shifting sessions behind the decks, encompassing a huge portion of the dance music spectrum that goes from soulful deep house to tough, driving techno and tech-house. While keeping himself on a kind of low profile, he still has rocked the dancefloors of many countries around the world, including Argentina, The Netherlands, Belgium, Russia, Georgia, London, Berlin, among others.

Now, Demarkus lands in Miami on November 16th, 2019, thanks to Shifting Tones, who have prepared a very special daytime outdoor event – pool included – in the 1000 Palms Hideout, a secretly located venue right in the city and which will be disclosed on the day of the event. Warm-up and closing duties will be performed by the party residents trio Atomyard, Fabrizio Zerlini and Miranda, who will be sure to provide a perfect accompaniment to Demarkus Lewis’ world-class mixing style and keep the attending audience on their toes and dancing the day away.

The event begins on Saturday, Nov. 16th at 2 PM, and it’s an outdoor event which includes a pool, so bathing clothes, although purely optional, are highly recommended. Shifting Tones also supports the Life of Releaf – One Tree Planted Campaign, in which a tree will be planted for every ticket sold.

Open Bar Tickets:

> Early-birds: $60
> Advanced: $80
> Door: $100

The address will be shared on the day of the event.
