Grammy-nominated duo SIDEPIECE and Repopulate Mars label boss Lee Foss have just unveiled their first collaboration ever with the release of ‘1, 2 Step’. The new drop is already available to stream and purchase via Insomniac Records.
The artists initially met at Audiotistic San Diego 2021, where Lee was impressed when SIDEPIECE rinsed an early demo of the record. Delivering a cross-over hybrid, ‘1, 2 Step’ unfurls in a cinematic manner, ascending in tension before plunging deep into an infectious Ciara sample that transforms the piece into a club-ready cut with catchy pop sensibilities.
