A resident artist at Blackworks parties with releases on labels like Etruria Beat and Reckless, Skryption has garnered support from techno’s elite, including Amelie Lens, Kobosil, and Paula Temple.
Now, he’s elevating his career with the launch of his own record label, BLADE DIVINE, a clothing collaboration with NXBO, and a complete artistic rebranding that showcases his signature blend of melodic and hard techno.
EG sat down with Skryption to discuss these exciting ventures and his artistic evolution.
EG: Hello, Matías! Welcome to EG. It’s a pleasure to have you here with us. How have you been? Where are you now?
Skryption: Hello, EG! Thank you very much for the welcome. I’ve been very well, full of energy and creativity. I am currently in Spain, where every day becomes a new source of inspiration for my musical projects.
EG: First of all, congratulations on the big news of launching your own record label! We can imagine that the excitement must be through the roof. What are your current thoughts on this?
Skryption: Thank you! The excitement is truly immense. Launching BLADE DIVINE is the result of years of passion and dedication. It’s a project that allows me to explore and merge my melodic sound with powerful beats, marking the beginning of a new stage where I can express myself with complete freedom and authenticity.
EG: What drove you to create your own label? How long have you been working on this idea?
Skryption: I’ve always felt that music is my unique way of communicating, and having my own label lets me control every creative aspect of my productions. The idea had been brewing for several years, but in 2024 I decided to take the leap and make this dream a reality. I wanted a platform where I could experiment without limits and connect more directly with my audience.
EG: What can your fans expect from your label in terms of sound?
Skryption: My fans can expect a sonic journey that combines enveloping melodies with powerful beats. BLADE DIVINE will be synonymous with innovation and daring to mix the melodic with the heavy, creating a unique auditory experience that invites both introspection and the pure energy of the dance floor.

EG: Although it’s not just about music, right? What can you tell us about your collaboration with the Argentine tech clothing brand NXBO? How will the music and the capsules come together?
Skryption: That’s right, creativity goes beyond music. My collaboration with NXBO, an Argentine brand with which I feel a deep connection, is something that fills me with pride. With TEACHWEAR, the clothing line I represent, we aim to merge fashion and music in an innovative way. The capsules we will launch will be an extension of my style: futuristic, authentic, and full of that vibe that defines me. It’s the perfect symbiosis between two passions.
EG: In line with the news, you will also unveil a new logo and image as part of a complete rebranding. Is there anything you can reveal about this? Why do you think a brand change is necessary?
Skryption: The rebranding is an essential part of this evolution. We are working on a new logo and image that reflect the essence of BLADE DIVINE: strength, innovation, and authenticity. We believe a brand change is necessary to mark a transition—a renewal that visually connects with the energy and passion we want to convey in every release.

EG: By the way, how would you describe your sound? Are you making the music you thought you would when you started producing/mixing? Did the move from Argentina to Spain have an impact?
Skryption: My sound is a dynamic mix of deep melodies and energetic beats, always evolving. When I started, I had a vision, but reality led me to explore new horizons. The move from Argentina to Spain has been key to absorbing new influences, enriching my style, and giving that creative twist that defines my music today.
EG: Moving on to a hot topic… what do you think about the current state of the scene? Are social media too closely linked to success in this industry? How is your personal relationship with social media? Are we worrying about the wrong things?
Skryption: The music scene is constantly changing, and social media have revolutionized the way we connect and share our art. They are powerful tools, but it’s important not to rely solely on them. Personally, I use social media to interact genuinely with my community while still focusing on the quality of my work. I believe the key is finding balance and not losing sight of what truly matters: passion and authenticity.

EG: Finally, what can we expect from Skryption in the coming months? Where can your fans see you?
Skryption: Exciting times are ahead! My fans can expect new productions, exclusive remixes, and high-energy live performances. I will be performing at festivals, clubs, and events both in Spain and in Argentina. Each performance will be a unique experience where music and aesthetics merge to offer something truly special.
EG: Thank you very much for your time, Matías! We wish you all the best for the future. Take care.
Skryption: Thank you, EG! It’s been a pleasure sharing this moment. I hope to continue surprising and connecting with my audience. A big hug, and see you on the dance floor!
