Skyline is not just a club night it is a whirling blend of sound with established international DJs sharing the booth alongside breakthrough artists playing incredible, forward-thinking, genre-defying music.

It goes down at the Radisson RED Glasgow – or more accurately, goes on up there.

The hotel is blessed with an iconic rooftop bar which happens to be one of the top 25 in the world, and it shows.

Think a glass box in the sky, as they refer to the RED Sky Bar – because that’s what it is. Perched on top of the hotel and with glass walls allowing dancers unique views of the massive Hydro arena across the way, plus all sorts of buildings and even the River Clyde.

The view transforms as day becomes night at the 12-14 hour parties, creating an evolving mood that perfectly complements the gathering pace of the music as the gathering of globally loved DJs shift through the gears.

It’s essentially dominated by all things progressive and melodic as that’s where the promoters’ love for music started and remains.

With rave reviews and requests to return again from luminaries of the DJ world including Danny Howells, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and so many more you pretty much won’t believe they’re playing to about 250 people on a Glasgow rooftop, it’s clear Skyline is truly special.

To top off the experience is the Void sound system, truly world-class and perfectly programmed to rattle the glass walls yet give back no distortion.

There’s also lavish attention to everything from décor to lighting, social marketing to merch, which makes this boutique party feel like something altogether bigger.

This year has been off to a great start with Danny Howells returning for a mammoth seven-hour Dig Deeper-inspired showcase at the end of January. Following that are incredible lineups to lock into your calendars for the next couple of months.

Dave Seaman and Quivver unite on February 25th for a Balance CD release party alongside his Selador label friends, Just Her and Robert Babicz.

Hernan Cattaneo, returns April 7th for another special Sunday, with stellar support from Nick Varon and Dmitry Molosh.

Following that is the Skyline second birthday party on May 12th, which again is dominated by a distinctly South American flavor, serving up a Sudbeat showcase including Nicolas Rada, Alex O’Rion, and many more.

No, Skyline is most definitely not just a club night – it’s a movement.

And if you’re not part of it yet, get with the programme.
