London-based DJ and music producer SONIKKU first emerged from the city’s underground club scene, where he honed his sound spinning at warehouse parties and raves.

Fusing a passion for dancefloor culture with pop sensibilities and the influence of video game soundtracks, SONIKKU has crafted an eclectic style that blurs the lines between genres, embracing both emotional resonance and club-ready energy.
His latest release, the double-A 12” EP ‘Heatwave/Drowning’ on Bella Union, follows a standout year that includes the LP ‘Whirlwind of Malevolence’, the summer EP ‘Kissing in the Strobe Light’ on Jaguar’s UTOPIA, a remix for Ava Max, and sets at Keep Hush and Soho Pride. With radio support from BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, Rinse FM, and global tastemakers, 2025 marks one of his most prolific chapters yet.
