The new cut is part of their latest album to be released in October.
Following the announcement of their self titled latest LP, the Boston duo drops a new original, ‘Numb’, riding the lines between underground pop and modern R&B.
Originally recorded at George Clinton’s Studios, the single features the voices from young vocalist and Tallahassee native Ebony Houston with a sound that is as powerful and knowledgeable. Synthesizers rip and tear as electric pianos smooth and strings get the mood soaring into the love story. This tracks is definitely a jump forward for Soul Clap into genre bending but remains authentic and true to their eclectic hearts.
Soul Clap mark the album with a global tour starting on September 30th in the UK, with a new London date added at Village Underground on October 9th, landing in Norway, Copenhagen, Italy and Amsterdam’s ADE before another five weeks in the United states, ending in Asia with a couple of gigs in Tokyo and Bangkok.
The album is expected to be out October 14th on Crew Love and you can pre-order here.
