An invitation to practice compassion and empathy through music.
Soul Clap has announced ‘WTF’ (World Transformation Force), a three-part album showcasing the duo’s constant evolution in the studio, concentrating their house underground influences, mixing elements of RnB, garage, hip-hop, funk, and downtempo electronica.
‘‘WTF’ is a call for radical love and radical hope, a call for a World Transformation Force, while affirming the Boston duo’s long-standing mission to change our world beyond the dance floor’, they explain in a press release.
Their love for music and environmental causes come together in this release, so it’s only natural that those energies are channeled into an album with a name like WTF (World Transformation Force) and released on a day like Earth Day (April 22nd, 2021).
‘‘WTF’ is our reaction to what is happening on this planet called Earth, and for us humans on it. Our belief that things will get better, even if we are still starting to learn how to get there. It’s a wake-up call into action, a moment for all of us to join together on the path to positive change. Dance music was born as an underground and subversive movement of marginalized people and we believe it is our duty to follow in their footsteps and use the power of our culture to achieve a positive change. Now is the time, we are all a WORLD TRANSFORMATION FORCE’, adds the duo from Boston.
