Music streaming platform SoundCloud has just announced the revamp of its Repost section, which has now been rebranded as SoundCloud for Artists. The music-sharing service acquired rights management and distribution company Repost Network in 2019.
Described by executives as “an elevated, all-in-one platform for artists to connect with fans and accelerate their careers”, SoundCloud for Artists is expected to aid creators as a ‘centralized home for all things distribution, promotion, monetization, and more’.
SoundCloud creators’ existing tracks have been automatically migrated over to the new dashboard. The SoundCloud for Artists plans remain at the old subscription prices.
