British producer, DJ, and label owner Steve Lawler has released his latest single entitled ‘The More I Love You’, featuring the vocals of Aquarius Heaven.
The duo drew inspiration from their previous successful collaboration ‘We Are Not Who We Are’ on Get Physical. They worked closely together to create a fresh and original vocal for this release. The result is a rhythmic and infectious house track, which also marks Lawler’s debut on Claude VonStroke’s label.
According to Lawler, “For whatever reason, I really felt the desire to make a dirty low slung acid house groove with a full-featured vocal. I love Aquarius’ unique vocal style. I built this entire groove around his sample, but then reached out to him. Luckily, he loved it and agreed to record a fresh new original vocal for me. This is where the song’s vocal direction came from. I personally love working with original vocals on most of my singles because it’s the collaboration of creative minds that can deliver magic. This song would not be what it is without Aquarius.”
