Glasgow’s Sub Club has launched an archival exhibition spotlighting its three-decade-long legacy. Titled ‘Sub Club x Alchemy: A Club Culture Retrospective’, the exhibit opened on September 9th, 2025, at The Alchemy Experiment and runs until September 21st.

The showcase brings together over 30 years of photographs, videos, posters, and flyers, offering a detailed narrative of Sub Club’s evolution and cultural impact in Scotland and beyond. The venue described the event as “a glimpse into the art, people, and cultural influence that have defined Sub Club’s longstanding legacy.” It added: “More than a look back, it is a celebration of the visual language that continues to inspire clubgoers; from Glasgow to the world.”

To mark the occasion, two celebratory events are scheduled. A Preview Night will take place on September 19th, featuring resident DJs from The Alchemy Experiment, followed by a Subculture day party on September 20th, with performances by CARISTA and Sub Club’s resident DJs.

In parallel with the exhibition, Sub Club will host a series of performances this month, including DJ Fart In The Club on September 19th, Shanti Celeste on September 26th, and Avalon Emerson on October 4th.
