The Istanbul-based techno artist showcases her impact in the latest imprint’s release
Istanbul’s rising techno star, SUMIA, has released her latest track, ‘B!tch,’ as part of the VA ‘Vol 3’ compilation from ART.1.43 label.
The 17-track collection which was released on November 17th features SUMIA’s ‘B!tch,’ alongside contributions from other accomplished artists such as AlexUnder, Joanna Coelho, and Das Komplott.
With her tracks described as musical storytelling that reflects her emotions, SUMIA continues to guide listeners through a captivating journey into a distinct reality, establishing herself as a noteworthy figure in the evolving techno landscape. Also as the founder and main owner of Istanbul’s Volx Community & Records, she extends her passion beyond her own music creation, actively supporting fellow performers. Her label’s initiative to create a donation album for earthquake victims in collaboration with six international producers exemplifies her commitment to the community.
SUMIA’s debut EP, endorsed by industry renowned names such as Parfait, Matrixxman, and İndira Paganotto, achieved notable success, maintaining a top-100 position across all music genres for the initial three months.
