New York’s renowned nightlife icon and promoter, Susanne Bartsch, is preparing to publish her memoir this year. The book, titled ‘Susanne Bartsch Presents: Bartschland: Tales of New York City Nightlife,’ takes readers on a captivating journey from her humble beginnings, starting with her very first party in 1986, to her rise as a prominent figure in the queer community.

Bartsch, often referred to as New York’s ‘Queen of Clubs,’ has been a driving force in the city’s vibrant party scene for over three decades. Her events, fueled by a mission of “transformation and inclusion,” have become legendary social gatherings, attracting a diverse crowd of like-minded individuals.

In an exclusive interview with the Observer, Bartsch shared the philosophy behind her unique approach to nightlife. “For me, it’s not about the money, but rather the joy of bringing people together and creating a sense of belonging,” she explained. “New Yorkers deserve a space where they can feel special and welcome. I love organizing parties that don’t require cover charges, as it allows me to give back to the community.”

Scheduled for release in the spring, ‘Bartschland: Tales of New York City Nightlife’ promises to be an enthralling read for anyone fascinated by the world of New York’s nightlife.
