Dance.Here.Now. is set to celebrate Halloween in Brooklyn with a very special date, featuring the sounds of two of the most esteemed members of the worldwide house music community, Tedd Patterson and Steve Martinez Sr. The event will take place this Saturday, October 29th at the Jolene Sound Room from 22:00 to 04:00.
Tedd Patterson has been spinning since the late 70s with his ethos of “no musical boundaries—only musical journeys,” his boldly creative sets at the Magic Sessions (Miami WMC) inspired generations of clubbers and DJs, conferring on him legendary status. His distinctive sound has earned a global fan base but also a career of impressive breadth and longevity. He has headlined the Ministry of Sound in London, Pacha in Ibiza, and Panorama Bar in Berlin. He has also brought his signature sound to Moscow, Tokyo, Montreal, and Naples. Tedd gathered a following early on in the NYC music scene, with underground East Village parties at Sugar Babies and Save the Robots that have now evolved into regular gigs at destinations like Flash Factory, Le Bain, and a 13-year residency in Cielo.
Joining him is Steve Martinez Sr., a luminary in the industry. His unique fusion of rhythms and melodies has captivated audiences, and he’s sure to bring a level of expertise that promises a memorable night for all in attendance.
