Legendary Chicago house group Ten City return with ‘The Next Generation’, a 13-track album released via Nervous Records. The vinyl edition is out now, with the digital release scheduled for September 19th, 2025.
Led by iconic vocalist Byron Stingily and Grammy-nominated producer Emmaculate, the project blends classic soul-driven songwriting with modern, dancefloor-ready production. Featured vocalists include Mon’Aerie, El Boogie & Ric Wilson, DRAMA, D. Lylez, OVEOUS, and Uneq’ka. Behind the boards, co-producers Shebazz Curtis, DJ Flipside, Na’el Shehade, Gershon Jackson, and Paris Cesvette add further depth to the sound.
‘The Next Generation’ builds on Ten City’s legacy of house classics like ‘Devotion’ and ‘That’s the Way Love Is’, while embracing the voices and styles shaping today’s soulful underground.
In Stingily’s words: “Staying TRUE while incorporating the NEW!” The result is a vibrant, Chicago-rooted body of work that bridges generations.
