The Human League co-founder Martyn Ware has launched his new electronic project, Corselette, with a remix package for the debut single ‘Don’t Doubt Your Power.’ The package features reworks by UK house pioneer Terry Farley and London producer Wade Teo, available now on white label.
The collaboration connects Ware’s synth-driven production with the anonymous project vocalist, Corselette. Farley and Teo join the release following their recent collaborative EPs for Radio Slave’s Rekids imprint and Teo’s House Hippo label.
The release features three versions. The ‘NYC Club Mix’ pairs a steady bass loop with deep percussion, cosmic melodies, and nineties house influences. The ‘House Vocal Mix’ delivers a sharper rhythm tailored for club play, while an ‘Instrumental Version’ rounds out the package.
Ware’s career spans eras as a founding member of both The Human League and Heaven 17, alongside high-profile production work for Tina Turner and Terence Trent D’Arby.
