Last Cat On Earth founder Thaddeus X has unveiled his latest release, ‘Life in Wave’, now available across all major digital outlets via Akbal Music.
The EP, which John Digweed has supported on his latest ‘Transitions’ show, continues to refine a sound that bridges time and genre, while melding modern electronic textures with emotive undercurrents from the past. Across four distinct cuts, Thaddeus X traverses through a spectrum of moods and styles, anchored in melodic house & techno, but reaching outward into indie-dance and deeper electronic territories.
On the titular ‘Life in Wave’, layered melodies, driving rhythms, and an emotional core converge for a wondrous outing. The more introspective moments, as in ‘My Life’, complement the more forceful passages with ‘The Flood’, making the EP a complete musical journey.
