Thaddeus X just released his latest EP, titled ‘Firewalk,’ done in collaboration with Iván Smoka, which is now available through the Lucidflow imprint.
The new two-track package features their original productions alongside a high-profile reinterpretation from veteran electronic music producer Dub Taylor.
The original mix of ‘Firewalk’ centers on a driving techno rhythm, focusing on structured percussion and steady, hypnotic synth arrangements. In contrast, Dub Taylor’s remix shifts the energy toward a lighter, rolling groove, utilizing fluid atmospheric textures and deep low-end frequencies suited for open-air performances.
This project represents the latest addition to the catalog of Lucidflow, a label well-regarded for its consistent curation of deep and dub techno.
