TOMORA, the new duo composed of The Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands and Norwegian artist AURORA, have officially released their debut single and video, ‘Ring The Alarm’. Out now via Capitol Records, the track marks the beginning of a collaboration that merges two distinct creative worlds.

Until now, the identity behind TOMORA had remained a mystery, sparking speculation after their name appeared on major 2025 festival lineups including Coachella, NOS Alive, Colours of Ostrava, Øya, and Down The Rabbit Hole. With today’s announcement, the project’s title — TOM and ORA — reveals its roots in both artists.

‘Ring The Alarm’ premiered via BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders and arrives alongside an official video directed by longtime The Chemical Brothers collaborator Adam Smith. The track opens with a persistent digital signal before launching into a pulsing rhythm and commanding vocal refrain, described as “a glorious, mechanized sound of alien contact.”

“We wanted TOMORA to be a band, not two individuals,” the pair said. “It’s our musical feeling come to life.”

The collaboration follows years of creative exchange. AURORA previously featured on The Chemical Brothers’ 2019 GRAMMY-winning album ‘No Geography’, while Rowlands contributed production to AURORA’s 2024 release ‘What Happened To The Heart?’. Their shared momentum has now crystallized into this new project.
