Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter has released a new remix of ‘Circonvolutions’, revisiting a composition originally featured on his 2023 album ‘Mythologies’.
Out now digitally and as a limited-edition numbered 12-inch vinyl EP, the release pairs the newly reworked version with the original orchestral recording performed by Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine and conducted by Romain Dumas.
The project was developed in collaboration with CHANEL and arrives ahead of Bangalter’s forthcoming album ‘Mirage: Ballet For 16 Dancers’, scheduled for release on June 5th, 2026.
Originally written for Angelin Preljocaj’s ballet ‘Mythologies’, ‘Circonvolutions’ reflects Bangalter’s ongoing exploration of orchestral composition while also pointing toward the more electronic direction of his upcoming work.
