Tiësto has officially closed the chapter on his long-running CLUBLIFE radio show, marking the end of an 18-year journey. The 978th and final episode aired on New Year’s Eve.
The closing broadcast featured 30 standout tracks that shaped CLUBLIFE’s legacy—from early 2000s festival anthems to modern-day hits. Among the selections were Avicii’s ‘Levels’, Martin Garrix’s ‘Animals’, and Zedd’s ‘Clarity’.
“We are closing the CLUBLIFE era,” Tiësto announced in the episode’s opening. “I started with CLUBLIFE, the radio show, back in 2007. It has been 18 years, and all these years, we have seen a lot of artists bursting onto the scene. Styles have changed through the years, and electronic music became bigger than ever, and festivals grew into major events. I’m so grateful I can still play all over the world and meet new talented artists everywhere, and experience the everlasting, heartwarming connection with the crowds.”
Launched in 2007, CLUBLIFE became a central platform for electronic music during the global rise of EDM, helping to soundtrack the genre’s transition into arenas, festivals, and the mainstream. The show evolved alongside Tiësto’s own career, documenting shifting styles and highlighting emerging talent across nearly 1,000 episodes.
