Tiga has dropped his new single ‘HOT WIFE’, a bold electro-clash collaboration with Boys Noize. Out now via Turbo Recordings and Secret City Records, the track is the third cut from his forthcoming album ‘HOTLIFE’, due April 17th.

Written in Berlin, the single embraces pop immediacy with a raw bassline and tongue-in-cheek lyricism. “You reach a point where making unassailably cool dance records can lead to diminishing returns,” says Tiga. “In a way, it’s the safest thing you can do. You can’t live in fear that a man in a fedora is going to like your music.”

On ‘HOT WIFE’, Tiga also offers a rare personal glimpse: “Since the dawn of time, people have romanticised the DJ/Producer as the Ultimate Bachelor Fantasy… I needed to get ahead of it and control the narrative. I’m betting big that this release is going to take my marriage to the next level.”

Addressing the track’s lyrical tone, he adds: “All six words are based on my truth. Only a small percentage of men are married to hot women, and a lot of them are great guys like me.”

‘HOT WIFE’ follows earlier singles ‘ECSTASY SURROUNDS ME’ and ‘SILK SCARF’ (with Fcukers), and forms part of the 12-track ‘HOTLIFE’ LP. The album will also feature Maara, MRD, and more, marking Tiga’s first studio album in a decade.
