Four years after the release of her debut solo album ‘International Love Affair’, Tigerbalm has returned with ‘Bubblegum Discos’, a new full-length project that further develops her globally inspired take on nu-disco and tropical dance music.

The album sees Rose Robinson working alongside a wide range of vocalists and musicians, drawing influence from Brazilian music, African disco traditions, Italo-disco, proto-house, soca, and jazz fusion. Across the record, club-focused instrumentals give way to song-led compositions shaped by live performance and collaboration.

Highlights include ‘Nayar’ with Giorgio Lopez, ‘Diga Me’ featuring Joy Tyson, and ‘Vera En Paraty’ with vocalist Melodie Correira. Elsewhere, Robinson delivers her first lead vocal performance on ‘Coco Makoko’, while collaborators including Jim Baron, Andre Espeut, Waahli, Michele Charivarini, and Idd Aziz contribute throughout the album.

With ‘Bubblegum Discos’, Tigerbalm presents a refined evolution of the sound she has been developing across releases for labels including Razor-N-Tape, Wonderwheel Recordings, Music For Dreams, and 2020 Vision.
