The legendary Todd Terry has linked up with Barcelona-based Piem to deliver their new collaborative outing, ‘Heartbeat’. The new drop signals the pair’s debut on Barcelona event brand and imprint Jackies Music, and is already available to stream and purchase.
Carrying all the markings of a future classic, Todd Terry & Piem’s ‘Heartbeat’ is a traditional slice of house music that runs over a dirty bassline while Monolito’s dreamy, trippy vocal elevates the piece to higher ground.
“I regularly DJ at events around the world for Jackies so when they sent me the invitation to collaborate on their debut release on their new label, I hoped it would be a strong track from a strong artist, and indeed it was, Piem came with the initial sketch and we developed it from there,” says Todd Terry about the new release.
