As a singer-songwriter-producer-DJ-multi-instrumentalist, she primarily operates from her studio located off-planet. She streams her music on Twitch and occasionally graces us with live performances at festivals and clubs.
Previously known as Tuff Ghost, she effortlessly explored a wide range of genres including hip-hop, techno, electro, house, and dubstep. Now, under the name Starya, she unveils her true artistic identity, captivating audiences with pop-house songs and ethereal vocals.
In her latest release titled ‘Wet’, Starya showcases her prowess as a club-pop producer and vocalist. Drawing inspiration from the bloghouse era of LA dance music, the track enchants listeners with ethereal vocals, pulsating synths, and immersive sound design. “I have been enjoying exploring the world of Amapiano. I have a playlist that I listen to on repeat and this is one of my favorite tracks.”

“There aren’t a lot of artists out there who I will 100% be downloading every track they put out and adding to my DJ sets, but ATRIP is one of them.”
8. The Chemical Brothers – Feels Like I Am Dreaming
“I love albums and was so happy to discover that the legendary Chemical Brothers released such a banger of a record with their newest ‘For That Beautiful Feeling’. I recommend listening to the whole thing through as it is the proper way to listen to an album, but currently, this is my favorite track.”

“I love this insane music video from Fei Fei – a super dope up-and-coming independent techno artist.”
