Township Rebellion creates a dystopian sci-fi setting through sound in their latest release, ‘Chaos & Order’. This double EP ‘invokes visions of a world that never existed, created by technologically advanced societies, yet close to collapse in counterpart to a brighter and more empathetic future,’ according to its press release.
First up is ‘Chaos’, which continues to grow as its arpeggios blow up into an epic club cut. Invoking 80s Italo, enhanced with a similar electro-swing, the track fades like an otherworldly dream where shapes, colors, and sounds intertwine. For its part, ‘Order’ is a dancefloor-ready call to arms, fusing thunderous echoes with a deadly groove.
