Traxsource has announced a new AI transparency feature designed to identify and classify AI-generated music across its platform. Developed in partnership with SH Labs and SoundPatrol, the system will begin rolling out on July 1st, 2026.

Under the new framework, fully AI-generated music will be flagged for removal, while tracks created with AI assistance and fully human-made productions will be clearly labeled. The initiative aims to provide greater transparency for artists, labels, and buyers navigating the growing presence of AI tools in music production.

“We don’t believe AI is going away,” said Traxsource co-founder Brian Tappert. “Everything we’re doing is about finding a way to live with it, and making sure the value stays where it belongs, with human-created works.”

The announcement follows Traxsource’s earlier statement, ‘Our Position on AI Music’, which outlined the platform’s approach to artificial intelligence. The policy prohibits the sale of fully AI-generated music while recognizing AI as a legitimate production tool when used by human creators.
